• Two others from the al-Awad family whose names we have not yet received / Hama: al-Sawa’eq / wounded by shrapnel from the warplane that was downed near the neighborhood
Details:
An MiG warplane was downed in the northern part of al-Sawa’eq neighborhood this afternoon. Five residents of the neighborhood died after being wounded by shrapnel from the aircraft. Regime forces stormed the neighborhood with many tanks and armored vehicles, and set up checkpoints on al-Sawa’eq-al-Hashmeyeh Road in the northern part of the neighborhood. One of the pilots of the aircraft went missing, while the other escaped to the military base in Zain al-Abdeen Mountain. The checkpoints are still present, and the neighborhood has been fully surrounded as the regime searches for the missing pilot.
