#Syria, Hassake, +40 PYD killed by Daesh

Clashes took place during the past 2 days between Daesh and the SDF backed by the US, at South Hassakeh rif and at the border with Irak with 2 carbomb explosions .

Activist reports to Zaman Al Wasl that clashes  broke out between SDF lead by the PYD and Daesh  in Shadadi at  the southern and western frontlines of the Hassakeh and Deir Ezzor borders, and at the borders with Irak, and that both resulted with many deaths and injured on both sides.

SDF failed to carry out its plan to bypass Markada, the last Daesh stronghold in Hassakeh province. SDF planned its battle  from the west in order to cut off the road to the north of Deir Ezzor province. But Daesh launched attacks with small groups at the opposite point of Anad and Tal Abu Rasayn, forcing the clashes  to retreat nearby the village of Fa’s (west of Shadadi), at the railway station, where there are military barriers. At the railway station, SDF attempted to progress towards the town of Soura in the north of Deir Ezzor, to bypass always Markada.
He mentionned that the luck of power suppply did not help to secure the communications.

At the border with Irak, 2 carbombs blasted at at Al Hamadat and Al Azawi both located south of Shadadi, killing more than 40 of the PYD
