  With this raid and some of the other action on the southeast Aleppo front, I wonder if more rebels are being freed up to fight on that front after Daesh’s withdraw from Azaz? As you say it is vital and the rebels had taken it before, then Daesh took over Northern Aleppo screwing over the rebel siege of regime-held west Aleppo in its infancy. Then, halesh did that huge push to bail out the SAA if i remember and they’ve been inching forward slowly since? They do seem to be hung up from advancing into the Industrial area currently.
