Iran-Assad use money, religious ministry to recruit terrorists

After failing to recruit young men to a new Fifth Division created and funded by Russia and Iran, Assad regime used the Ministry of Religious Endowments (Al-Awqaaf) to lure young men through religious preachers to join in return for high salaries.


The ministry issued an order to preachers to urge young men to join the new division and emphasize the financial benefits of joining.
