Aleppo local council calls for 5 day truce as killings continue

The local council in the Assad-besieged Aleppo called for a five-day truce and the evacuation of civilians on Wednesday after losing some of the territories, including the Old City to Assad terrorists and the allied mercenaries.

The statement, which opposition representatives told AFP had been approved by some armed opposition factions in the city, called for “the evacuation of civilians who wish to leave” the city’s east to opposition territory in northern Aleppo province.

It made no mention of the fate of opposition fighters and urged “negotiations on the future of the city”.
