Assad army declares formation of new corps from terrorists

The Assad army announced Tuesday the formation of “a Fifth Army Corps” from terrorist volunteers with the aim of putting an end to what the spokesperson said “terrorism” across the country.

The formation of the new corps is to restore “security and stability” in all the Syrian territories, and to support the Assad terrorists in their war on “terror”, according to the military spokesman.

“In response to the rapidly changing conditions, consolidate the existing combat achievements and meet the need to end ’terrorism’ in Syria, command of the Assad army now announces to establish the Fifth Army Corps. The corps consists of volunteers and will carry out ’anti-terrorism missions.’ It will work with other troops of the Assad army with support from our allies, aiming to bring stability in Syria,” said Ali Mayhoub, spokesman of the Assad Army.
