Jaish al Sham was formed in Aleppo by several former commanders of several armed factions. The commander is a former Ahrar al Sham “Mohammad Bzerbashi” aka “Abu al Rahman Souri”.
The army’s goal is to fight the dictators and those who serve them, and to serve the syrians. Those goals are in conformity with its islamic identity. The announcement of the army creation happened after Tal Sawsyn was recaptured from Daesh.
The army is formed of groups who left Ahrar Al Sham, Shamiya front and Sham Legion and of independent groups of fighers.
The source added to All4Syria, that prominent figures of Ahrar Al Sham are in Sham Army such as Abu Anas Saraqeb who was the former vice president of former Ahrar President Abu Jaber, Abu Barra Maarshurin, in addtion to prominent figures of the city of Aleppo and Idlib.
The army announced its first operations against Daesh in the northern rif of Aleppo where it recaptured Tal Sawsyn with the joint forces Faylaq Al Sham, Ahrar Al Sham and Jabhat Al Shamiya. Activists say that it weight will be mostly in the north against Daesh for the time being.
